ChildFund Deutschland has been active in Cape Verde since 1989 with family aid projects on the island of Santo Antao. In 1999, the project was extended to the main island of Sao Tiago. At present, about 600 families are benefiting from ChildFund Deutschland’s support in the areas of health care, nutrition, literacy and vocational training.
