The economic crisis that has struck thousands of families in recent years directly affects children; so much so, that one out of three children in Spain are at risk of poverty. A direct consequence of this situation is malnutrition, and it is estimated that some 260,000 children cannot afford to eat meat, poultry or fish every two days.
